Trainers are available to offer onsite training throughout the year.
A school may offer professional development for its staff or sponsor
a workshop for area teachers.
length: Workshops range in length from one day to five or 10 days.
length: Typically runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with
a 30-minute lunch break. Participants should bring a bag lunch and
wear clothes they don't mind getting paint on.
of Participants: A minimum of 15 teachers is required to
offer onsite training. Space permitting, 30 or more participants
Space Needs: All workshops require a room: 1) large enough to accommodate tables and chairs to seat participants, 2) that darkens in order to watch projected video, and 3) with a water supply nearby. Image-Making Workshops require 16 long tables and space to hang a drying line as well as lay painted papers flat to dry.
1-day Workshop: $250 per participant
2-day Workshop: $400 per participant
3-day Workshop: $525 per participant
4-day Workshop: $650 per participant
5-day Workshop: $750 per participant
Institute costs will vary depending on the number of workshop days.
*All fees include instructional materials and all art materials
used during the workshop. Hosting site is responsible for trainer's
travel expenses (mileage, meals, lodging, airfare if applicable).
